Welcome to Gateway Fencing Academy! Our current
home is in St. Louis County, in Olivette at 1138 North Warson Road
(Epstein Hebrew
Academy),
located just a half mile north of Olive Boulevard. Founded in 2005
by five parents of youth fencers, our mission is to create a competitive
program for children as well as adults, in addition to offering a
recreational component for fencers of all ages and ability levels
to enjoy. In December of 2005 we were fortunate to hire Hossam Hassan,
an internationally recognized coach, who has set out to help us
achieve
our goal of creating a premier fencing facility for the Saint Louis
metropolitan area.
In addition to training our competitive fencers at our facility,
Coach Hassan offers a variety of beginner and intermediate classes
at several area schools and recreation centers. Please note the
variety of programs we have available, and look at our calendar
for class schedules and locations, and information about upcoming
camps and tournaments.
We are still getting our feet on the ground, so if you do not find

Gateway Fencing Academy's mission
is to promote competitive fencing for both youth and adults in the
St. Louis area. In addition, we offer a recreational component for
all ages to enjoy. We are committed to actively supporting the sport
of fencing in our community through superior coaching and training,
competitions, and outreach and educational programs. Our efforts
uphold the mission and goals of the United States Fencing Association. |
